Laken Adair, born and raised in Western Kentucky, proudly calls the small town of Benton her home. A graduate of Murray State University—Go Racers!—Laken holds an undergraduate degree in Learning and Behavior Disorders (K-12) and Middle School Math (5-9), as well as a master’s degree in Advanced Special Education. She also holds a Rank 1 in Administration, showcasing her commitment to educational leadership and growth.
With 14 years of experience as a middle school special education teacher, Laken has worked with students of all ability levels and disabilities. Her extensive experience in the classroom has equipped her with the skills and understanding needed to address the unique needs of each student. Laken is dedicated to ensuring that all students, regardless of their challenges, receive the support they need to succeed.
Laken’s passion for her role as an executive function coach stems from her desire to witness those "light bulb" moments when students grasp new concepts. She thrives on helping students become independent and successful, guiding them in developing the executive function skills they need to navigate both academic and life challenges. For Laken, there is no greater reward than seeing her students achieve their full potential.
